Who is Tirumani Sri Pooja?

Tirumani Sri Pooja has secured AIR 62 in the UPSC CSE 2021 with Anthropology as her optional subject. And now as per her service preference in the Civil Services Exam, she might become an IAS officer after her training.

This is her second attempt in the UPSC CSE and she has managed to get a very good rank which may turn her childhood dream of becoming an IAS officer true.

Tirumani Sri Pooja prepared for Civil Services Exam from NCERT books for a basic understanding of different topics covered in the syllabus of the exam. Tirumani Sri Pooja UPSC Marksheet

Tirumani Sri Pooja got 996 marks out of 2025 marks in total which comprises 817 marks in the CSE (Main) written exam, and 179 marks in the interview (Personality Test).

Biography of Tirumani Sri Pooja UPSC Topper

Tirumani Sri Pooja, AIR 62 rank-holder in UPSC CSE 2021, hails from Cuddapah in Andhra Pradesh. She grew up with a childhood dream of becoming an IAS officer because her father is in State Public Services serving as Village Development Officer, and an extension officer in Panchayati Raj & Rural Development.

She witnessed in early childhood that her father’s actions can bring a lot of change in people’s lives, and this motivated her to think about civil services.

After her schooling, she went to the National Institute of Technology Karnataka (NITK) Surathkal for her B.Tech. graduation in Electronics and Communication Engineering. Sri Pooja is a bright student and has received many prizes in science fairs and talent tests. She is also passionate about illustrating cartoons.

Tirumani Sri Pooja started UPSC preparation after her graduation and gave her first attempt in Civil Services Examination 2021. She qualified for the Preliminary exam, and then appeared for the CSE (Main) written exam but couldn’t make her name in the final list that UPSC recommends after Personality Test.

This is her second attempt and now she managed to get a very good rank, AIR 62 securing 996 marks in total. Tirumani Sri Pooja has chosen Indian Administrative Services as her first service preference, and we may see her as an IAS officer very soon.
