IAS Namrata Choubey Biography
Namrata Choubey hails from the Garhwa district of Jharkhand and has done her schooling there itself. Her father is a government teacher in a middle school there, and he has been a great motivation for Namrata to dream big and work hard to make it a reality.
She did her 10th from Shanti Niwas High School, Garhwa and 12th from RK Public School, Garhwa. After that, she went to IIT Kanpur for her graduation in Biological Sciences. And then she got placed in a company in Mumbai and after doing the job for a year she quit it to prepare for the Civil Services Examination.
AIR 73 rank-holder Namrata Choubey gave her first attempt at UPSC CSE in 2019 and she had also given the interview but couldn’t make her name on the final list. The next year, she appeared for the exam again but unfortunately, now she couldn’t even clear the preliminary exam.
And this is her 3rd attempt where Namrata has managed to get an All India Rank 73 which is a dream rank for most aspirants. Her first service preference is the Indian Administrative Service and we may very soon see Namrata Choubey as an IAS officer after her training at LBSNAA, Mussoorie.
